Holiday Shopping Tips from Crossroads Center

Waterloo, Iowa—As the busiest retail season of the year is here, Crossroads Center would like to offer consumers the following tips to help make holiday shopping a little easier.

Avoid the rush and shop at off-peak times.  For your convenience, Crossroads Center retailers have extended hours during the holiday season.  Hours are as follows: December 19, 9 am to 10 pm; December 20, 8 am to 10 pm; December 21, 9 am to 9 pm; December 22-23, 9 am to 10 pm.; and December 24, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Take advantage of Crossroads Center’s holiday services to make shopping more pleasurable. We are proud to offer shoppers courtesy coat/package check, shopping bags and wheelchairs. Gift wrapping is available at the Customer Service Center near Osco Drug.  Non-profit organizations are gift wrapping on the upper level near Younkers and include:  Family & Children’s Council, Victory Chapter IAAP, St. Joseph School, LaPorte City FFA & Historical, Immanuel Lutheran Youth, Conger St. Church of Christ, AAWW, Sacred Heart Parish, Seed of Hope and Jesup After Prom.

Consider giving gift certificates.  Crossroads Center’s gift certificates are always the perfect size and color.  Gift certificates are available at the Customer Service Center, located on the lower level near Osco Drug.

To make the checkout process easier, have your method of payment and proper identification ready before you get to the register.

For the best selection, don’t wait until the last minute to shop.
